October brings new characters to Diepe Waters
Fans of kykNET (DStv Channel 144) telenovela Diepe Waters can look forward to an exciting October, as new characters make their debut. While the relationships of beloved characters are further tested and storylines take new directions, these fresh faces bring with them new energy, secrets, and surprises.
Meet the new characters:
Frans Broeksma (Deon Coetzee – Spoorloos, Losprys, Binnelanders, Legacy, Egoli)
A strong, no-nonsense cattle farmer from the Free State who comes to Boskruin to spend time with his family. He is principled and doesn’t tolerate nonsense, but his direct approach can sometimes make people uncomfortable. While he can be blunt and occasionally stubborn, there is a surprisingly sensitive side beneath the surface.
Kayla Daniels (Marelee Ferreira – Reënboogrand)
Kayla joins Skinvestment as a junior beautician. Energetic, enthusiastic, and always eager to try new trends and ideas, she doesn’t always align perfectly with Zelda’s more traditional approach. Her passion for modern, sustainable beauty makes her a dynamic addition to the team.
Josh Williams (Emmanuel Castis – Isidingo, Erfsondes)
Anja’s boyfriend from England, Josh, is friendly, spontaneous, and full of fun. He may not be the typical dream man, but his humor and big heart quickly win people over. However, his unconventional style and lighthearted nature make some people uncomfortable, and this may create tension.
Allan Lewis (Paul Strydom – Reënboogrand, Summertide)
Allan is a self-assured, wealthy finance student who is outspoken about his opinions. He believes that success comes only through hard work and has little sympathy for those who struggle. His arrogant attitude and flashy lifestyle don’t always make him popular, but he doesn’t shy away from expressing his views.
Patrick Pieters (Lian Strydom)
Patrick is Allan’s quiet companion and loyal right-hand man. He shares Allan’s luxurious lifestyle and stylish appearance but prefers to stay in the background. Though not as outspoken as Allan, his loyalty often keeps him entangled in uncomfortable situations.
