Audio Visual Content Program 2026: AI Amplify
The Audio Visual Content Program 2026 returns after a standout 2025 run, bringing together 150 selected South African creators for a free six-week virtual bootcamp powered by the Google AI ecosystem.
The Department of Communications and Digital Technologies (DCDT), in collaboration with the National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (NEMISA), the KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority in partnership with Google, announces the launch of the Audio Visual Content Program 2026: AI Amplify, a free, six-week virtual bootcamp for South African content creators and filmmakers designed to help build the South African creative entrepreneurs of the future under the theme “The African creator, Amplified”.
The programme is designed to move a carefully selected cohort of 150 active audio visual creators from manual, and fragmented workflows to AI-enabled production by building practical fluency with AI tools and equipping participants with the skills, credentials and career infrastructure to earn sustainably from their creative work – all specifically tailored to the creative and operational processes digital creators’ work within.
This is not a passive learning environment. Through twice-weekly webinars, live challenges, shared resources and an exclusive WhatsApp community, participants build real AI-enhanced creative deliverables each week, culminating in a criteria-based graduation.
