It’s cold outside but things are hotting up at The Drama Factory his August, with a programme of great music and laughter guaranteed to keep you warm.

Summer of 69 – The Ultimate Bryan Adams Experience (Music) : 10 August 7.30pm
Featuring Ant Kinnsey, Malcolm Cassisa, Simon Kettleborough and Simon van Dugteran
Back by popular demand! This show follows the format of Bryan Adams’ epic Wembley Stadium concert where he performed all the amazing hits we know and love to an over 70 000 strong audience. With songs such as Summer of 69′, Everything I Do, Run to You, I Need Somebody, Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman, Cuts Like a Knife and more – this tribute has all the grit and romance that is Bryan Adams. With every show sold out over the past year, this is not one you want to miss!
From Memphis to Las Vegas: Elvis Presley Tribute (Music) : 11 August at 16h00
Featuring James Marais and Monique Cassells
From Memphis To Las Vegas: Elvis Presley Tribute commemorates the 47th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s passing on 16 August 1977. This is a mini-theatrical experience, featuring the dynamic vocal and visual performances of James Marais and Monique Cassells, alternating as a duo and individual performers, who also do multiple costume changes throughout. The show covers many of the King of Rock ‘n Roll, Elvis Presley’s greatest hits from all three decades of his career, namely the 1950s, when Elvis became an international rock ‘n roll star, the movie years of the 1960s, and the glitzy 1970s, when Elvis reigned supreme in Las Vegas.

Dowwe Dolla se Ouma het eintlik saam met Dolla afgetree einde 2021. Maar nou wil almal weet wie was daai tannie wat so aanstoot kon gee? En toe besluit Ouma sy het NOG ‘n paar dinge om kwyt te raak. Ouma kom van Garies en soos meeste mense van daardie wêreld is sy ʼn formidabele vrou. In die Knersvlakte word jy nie groot met luukshede soos doekies omdraai nie. Sy het al twee mans begrawe maar haar bure vermoed die laaste een het net ingesluimer. Met die dat haar kleindogter nou in die stad werk, en sy nou en dan moet gaan kuier, kom Ouma agter daar is baie dinge wat sy nie Ken nie, En “takt” is een van hulle.

Lieflike Droom – musikale huldeblyk aan Gé Korsten Rapport het ‘n onlangs ‘n opname onder hulle lesers gemaak oor wie die grootste Afrikaanse kunstenaar in Suid Afrika is/was. GÉ KORSTEN het by verre die meeste stemme gekry. Ons het dit goedgedink om ‘n huldeblyk aan hom te doen. Met foto’s, videomateriaal en uittreksels uit van die flieks waarin hy gespeel het vat ons gehore op ‘n nostalgiese reis. Jannie Moolman(tenoor) en Riaan Hunter(bariton) sing van sy grootste treffers en vertel die storie van sy lewe.

The Drama Factory
Established in 2017, The Drama Factory has become renowned as a prime destination for patrons to enjoy quality entertainment across a range of genres in a relaxed and welcoming environment. As well as showcasing mainstream productions, The Drama Factory offers creatives a venue to workshop performances, providing an affordable space for artists to bring their creative ideas to life.
