Sjava serves soul food in first solo concert at Time Square.
Multiple award winning musician, Jabulani “Sjava” Hadebe, has chosen the Sun Arena Time Square for his first ever solo concert. The BET and SAMA winner takes to the stage on 27 October 2019 when he will perform his unique brand of Sunday soul food for adoring fans.
One Night with Sjava, in association with MTN and MusicTime!, will be a musical treat marked by the Afro balladeer’s distinctive style of positive, affirming and celebratory songs. In keeping with the humility of the artist, Sjava will not be hogging the spotlight all to himself. He will feature surprise acts that will undoubtedly delight and touch the crowd.
Sjava began his career as an actor in 2005, starring in several drama series’ and films including He then rose to prominence on the drama series, Zone 14 where he starred for three consecutive seasons. Sjava ventured into the music industry after joining record label Ambitiouz Entertainment and was featured on Miss Pru’s critically acclaim song “Ameni” in 2015. His debut album Isina Muva, released in 2015, introduced his experimental sound, fusing afrobeat, hiphop and contemporary R&B. His second album Umqhele was released in 2018 to a critical acclaim.
