Genesis 1-Hour Gospel Extravaganza to Light Up Mzansi Magic this December
You are invited to a gospel extravaganza which will take place in a one-hour special of Mzansi telenovela, Genesis on Friday 26 December at 19:00.
Episode 180 of the telenovela marks a moment on the show where storytelling meets song, a core theme of the show’s storyline.
This concert, which will be hosted by actress, TV and radio presenter Candice Modiselle, will feature characters of the show who portray gospel artists: Felicia (Baby Cele), Mmarona (Gaosi Raditholo), Ishmael (Craig Nobela), Bonko (Naymaps Maphalala) and MaBishop Hlophe.
They will be joined by some of Mzansi’s gospel royalty:
- Award winning Thinah Zungu known for songs Nginguthandiwe, Kwanqaba Umusa,
- Lebo Sekgobela of the ‘Mzansi gospel anthem’ Lion of Judah
- Mpumi Mtsweni – Thath’Indawo, Nkulunkulu Munye
- Jumbo – Sibonga Umusa, Mawungizwe Nami
