Hurray! kykNET’s popular quiz show Wie Word ’n Miljoenêr? is looking for contestants

As was with the previous two seasons, a magical R1 million is up for grabs for someone with some solid general knowledge.

It can be you! How often don’t you watch quiz shows on TV and shout out the answers way before the actual participant does?

It is time to leave your sofa antics behind and grab this opportunity with both hands. This year, the door is wide open for you, even if you’ve tried before. Yes, it’s a new year and with it comes a twist.

If you’ve managed to get into the studio with your fast fingers but failed at reaching the hot seat, you can enter again! Think about that old saying: Third time lucky. This may just be the year for your million rand ship to reach the shore.

Since Wie Word ’n Miljoenêr first kicked off in 2021 on kykNET 120 winners collected R5,5 million. Yet until today, nobody has answered the million rand question correctly.

Wie Word ’n Miljoenêr?’s first big winner was business journalist and writer Theunis Strydom when he pocketed R500 000 in 2022.

Last year journalist Susan Booyens also took R500 000 home after being one answer short of winning the R1 million.

Susan’s advice?

“What are you waiting for? Grab this opportunity! Don’t be afraid and go for it. You have nothing to lose, and you certainly know way more than you think.”

“It is a great adventure. Take a deep breath and see if you can’t logically work out the answer if you get stuck on a question. Trust your gut and use Rian as a soundboard. It truly is a matter of risking a chance to win. And any prize money is a great bonus.”

“It is lovely to see how the gears in a contestant’s brain start kicking in – and if not, all laugh together for the brave attempts made.”

“You continuously learn facts and bizarre trivia later to be shared around the fire with great glee.”

“Everyone watching the show wants you to do great and admires your guts.”

There it is – all the reasons (plus a million rand) why you should enter today!
