Siv Ngesi, Pamela Mtanga and Jack Parow are the first contestants ever to spin South Africa’s Wheel of Fortune
Wheel of Fortune South Africa, the local version of the world’s legendary word quiz game show, kicks off with a special celebrity episode. Viewers will see how actor and comedian Siv Ngesi, cooler-than-cool Afrikaans rapper Jack Parow and multimedia entrepreneur Pamela Mtanga play the longest-running game show on the globe for the benefit of a charity organisation of their choice.
Jack Parow will spin the wheel to possibly raise funds for the kids of Cape Town Children’s Home, Pamela’s word phrase skills will be put to the test for Beyond Human Nature Foundation, and Siv aims to make a difference for a non-profit organisation fighting period poverty called MENstruation Foundation.
Wheel of Fortune South Africa, proudly sponsored by Cell C, is a collaboration between Primedia Studios and the acclaimed production company Homebrew Films.
The Wheel of Fortune South Africa kicks off on S3 (formerly known as SABC3) on Monday, 8 April at 19:30, with host Rorisang Thandekiso.
Besides Wheel of Fortune South Africa’s Monday-to-Friday premiere screenings on S3, there will be daily rebroadcasts on SABC 2 at 09:30. If you missed an episode during the week, you can catch the omnibus on S3 on Saturdays from 10:30 to 13:00.
