Living The High Life In Sandton

The Cannabis Expo kicked off on Friday at the Sandton Convention Centre, bringing together industry professionals, enthusiasts, and experts for a day filled with innovation, education, networking and some blazing good times. The event showcases the latest trends, technologies and products in the rapidly growing cannabis industry, fostering discussions around legalisation, business opportunities, and the future of cannabis in Africa.

The first day of the expo saw an impressive turnout, with attendees converging in Sandton for Africa’s largest cannabis event. Throughout the day, visitors explored an expansive exhibition floor featuring hundreds of leading cannabis companies, showcasing thousands of products and services, ranging from cultivation and extraction technologies to innovative wellness and lifestyle brands. Attendees interacted with exhibitors, gaining first-hand knowledge about the latest developments in the cannabis space and forging valuable connections within the industry.

The Cannabis Expo also hosts a series of expert-led seminars and panel discussions, covering a diverse range of topics.

“We are thrilled by the overwhelming response to the first day of The Cannabis Expo and so happy to be back in Johannesburg,” said the event organiser, Silas Howarth. “There are so many new and exciting exhibitors and products this year, and the Cannabis Food Market and Freedom Festival kept the vibe going throughout the day, we are looking forward to a great weekend of all things cannabis.”

As the sun set on the inaugural day, participants expressed their anticipation for what promises to be an equally engaging and impactful weekend at The Cannabis Expo. With a line-up of compelling sessions, product demonstrations, and networking opportunities on the agenda, as well as DJ Fresh and other top artists performing at The Freedom Festival, organisers are expecting record numbers through the door on Saturday and Sunday.

The Cannabis Expo has drawn widespread interest from across the industry and beyond and the event attracts visitors and delegates from around the world. Tickets now available online starting at R150.
