As the world’s attention turns to football’s biggest stage for the summer’s FIFA World Cup 2026™ tournament, adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria release Comienza Con El Sueño – a collection and campaign grounded in the belief that dreams don’t begin on the world stage, but long before.

They begin in the streets that raised us, the voices which guided us, the culture, rhythm, and pride we carry every day. It’s where drive is built, identity takes form, and we learn to play for something bigger than ourselves, a collective dream.

Because, when the moment everyone waits for finally arrives, it doesn’t come out of nowhere. It carries everything that came before it. Comienza Con El Sueño honors that journey, the space between who we are and where we come from – where the dream truly begins.

At the heart of the collection, adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria deliver a full range of officially accredited Selección Nacional de México World Cup merchandise, as only they could. Following a first appearance on Willy Chavarria’s Autumn/Winter 2026 runway, the range of FMF-badged apparel includes soccer jerseys, tracksuit, long soccer short and rugby shirt silhouettes in dual motifs both inspired by iconic Mexico football heritage.

Elsewhere, the collection expands the pitch into the surrounding moments of football culture: a blazer, long twill short and button-up shirt fit for a coach, and stand-ready soccer and merch tees, crewneck, scarf and caps. Throughout, motifs of Chavarria’s signature embroidery, graphic touches, and the collection’s namesake slogan – a declaration stitched into the garment itself.

Footwear includes the Willy Mega Low and Megaride AG XL – both built on the Megaride franchise tooling with an exaggerated upper, Chavarria branding at the tongue and hits of red throughout – alongside the Willy Chavarria Megaride Copa, a football-inspired silhouette.

Within the accompanying campaign, adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria spotlight the rising youth talent of the Selección Nacional de México, introducing a new generation of footballers whose ambitions are set on future World Cup stages. Featured players include senior National Team standouts Jesús Gilberto Orozco and Jeremy Márquez, alongside Omar Campos, who has previously earned national team call-ups, and Ariel Castro, the youngest of the group.
