Luggage runs through the X-ray scanners, a passenger undergoes an intrusive body search and sniffer dogs roam the halls – but despite all these security measures, O.R .Tambo International has gained a reputation for being a drug smuggler’s paradise. Carte Blanche investigates why this airport has seemingly become an easy exit point for international mules.
