Sold Out. Not To You. Sabc 1 Brings Red Bull Symphonic Home
For the millions of South Africans who could not get a ticket, SABC 1 has you covered. On Sunday, 14 June 2026, at 19h30, SABC 1 will broadcast Red Bull Symphonic Afro House, Our Home, live from Montecasino, Johannesburg, reaching millions of South Africans nationwide.
This year’s edition rewrites the Red Bull Symphonic record books. For the first time in the show’s history, two artists will headline simultaneously. House visionary Sun-El Musician and powerhouse Dlala Thukzin will each perform their catalogues, reimagined and reorchestrated for a full-scale symphonic orchestra under the baton of conductor Chad Hendricks. The result is a musical experience that stretches the boundaries of both electronic music and classical performance.
The Montecasino event sold out at 10 000 spectators, with 5000 per night to ensure a quality experience, placing one of the most anticipated live music productions of the year beyond reach for most South Africans. SABC 1’s broadcast partnership with Red Bull Media House changes that entirely, delivering the complete Symphonic experience into every home across the country.
