#ZonkeBonkeMzansi: Mzansi Magic Showcases Its Wealth of Prime Time Content

Few things evoke the feeling of being “home” like sitting with family around a table decked with your favourite delights to enjoy. Mzansi Magic, your home of local, provides precisely that experience with its content line-up every weekday from 7pm to 10pm.

#ZonkeBonkeMzansi showcases the incredible diversity of Mzansi, highlighting our multitude of languages, cultures, and interests. Despite these differences, Mzansi Magic unites us all, offering a lovely array of content that appeals to everyone.

From the on and off-the-field drama of the Modise family on Champions at 7pm, to the never-ending strife and love triangles of the Mshengu’s and their makotis on My Brother’s Keeper (7:30pm), ukuhuba kwamaJudiya on Umkhokha (8:30pm) and of course what’s a night without Msimelelo defending or lying about something on Gqeberha: The Empire at 9pm. And this is just the tip of the iceberg, because there is never a shortage of reality drama including the nation’s husband Musa Mseleku with his weekly family meetings on Uthando neS’thembu (Thursdays at 8pm).

For this campaign, Mzansi Magic brought together some of the characters from the above-mentioned shows and together they bring to life what #ZonkeBonke is truly about.

As if to kick off the campaign, Musa Mseleku got tongues wagging by posting an image with what viewers assumed is the ‘infamous No. 5’. Although an April Fool’s hoax, it proved how invested viewers are with Mseleku neS’thembu sakhe.

Here is what some of them had to say about being part of the campaign:

  • Being a part of this campaign shoot felt more like an introduction to a broader Mzansi Magic family, nothing but good vibes.” – Ntando Mazibuko (Thoba on My Brother’s Keeper)
  • It felt like going down the Mzansi rabbit hole and popping out in the Champions changing room. I always knew Msimelelo had a coach in him.” Anele Matoti (Msimelelo on Gqeberha:The Empire)
  • Being part of this campaign shoot was truly an amazing experience. I’m thrilled to now share it with you, and I hope you will find it just as enjoyable.” Thobile MaKhumalo Mseleku (MaKhumalo – Uthando Nes’thembu)
  • I believe this has afforded us a rare opportunity to know one another and indeed this will define us going forward.” Musa Mseleku (Uthando neS’thembu)
