In less than a month, Myles Smith’s highly anticipated debut South African tour lands in Cape Town and Jo’burg

Breakout Events is thrilled to welcome Myles Smith to Cape Town and Joburg this August, the immensely talented singer-songwriter and DIY phenomenon from Luton, London, will embark on his debut tour of South Africa later this month.

Myles Smith’s profile has risen meteorically over the past year. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists including Green Day, Ben Howard, Labrinth, and UK Rap, Myles has crafted a unique sound that resonates with a wide audience.

His latest single, ‘Stargazing‘, spends its 8th week in the Top 10 of the UK Singles chart this week and currently in the Top 5 charts in Belgium and Ireland. The single is Top 10 in Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and South Africa while in the Top 20 in Australia, Canada, Sweden, New Zealand and Norway.

Over the past week he supported Tom Odell at Alexandra Palace, before heading off to Latitude Festival in the UK and then on to the US where he will be supporting Imagine Dragons for 4 x Stadium dates and then to Stockholm supporting Benjamin Ingrosso on his Arena date in early August.

Local favourite, Craig Lucas will be joining the line-up for both the Cape Town and Johannesburg concerts.
