The wait is almost over for Matthew Mole and Will Linley fans

With just a few days to go, excitement is at a peak for one of the most anticipated concerts of the Sunset Music Series as two of South Africa’s biggest contemporary stars, Matthew Mole and Will Linley, prepare to share the stage at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden on Sunday, 14 June.

Bringing together two generations of chart-topping singer-songwriters, the concert promises an unforgettable afternoon of feel-good music, singalong favourites, and spectacular live performances in one of Johannesburg’s most beautiful outdoor settings.

Beloved for hits including ‘Take Yours, I’ll Take Mine‘, ‘Run‘, and his current hit single ‘In My Head‘, Matthew Mole has become one of South Africa’s most successful independent artists, earning a devoted following through his uplifting songwriting, infectious energy, and heartfelt live shows.

Joining him is international breakout star Will Linley, whose global success continues to soar. With millions of streams worldwide and fan favourites such as ‘miss me (when you’re gone)‘, ‘Last Call‘ and now the brand-new single ‘Holding The Line‘, Linley has quickly established himself as one of South Africa’s most exciting musical exports, captivating audiences both locally and abroad.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden, the Sunset Music Series offers far more than just a concert. The event runs from 13:00 to 17:00, with gates opening at 13:00.

  • Own food and picnic baskets permitted (no cooler boxes or glass).
  • No Hard Cooler boxes or Glass is allowed.
  • Camp chairs, picnic blankets, and small umbrellas allowed (umbrellas to be set up at the back).
  • Small umbrellas are allowed but must be positioned at the back of the venue.
  • Gazebos are not allowed.
  • Children under 5 enter Free.
