Lola Audreys Releases New Single, Hello Goodbye
South African pop artist Lola Audreys continues her rise as one of the country’s most promising voices with her latest single, Hello Goodbye. This single comes off the back of her previous release, Rum and Coke, which was greatly supported across radio, not only in South Africa, but abroad.
“Seeing Rum and Coke connect at radio has been a real highlight. It feels like a solid step forward, and I think it has also given me that extra bit of confidence to share more of my music.”
Lola continues to feel the love and support from her fans, with her catalogue now surpassing 10 million streams.
“Hello Goodbye came from those small, often overlooked moments of connection,” Lola shares. “A glance or a passing interaction that somehow stays with you. It started from that idea and naturally evolved into something more universal about how these brief encounters shape us.” The single was written alongside Barney Cox (Producer) and Joe Killington. “It was a very natural process, starting simple and building into something more reflective, with a focus on light, nostalgic pop production that allows the emotion to lead.”

“I love how honest and understated it feels,” she shares. “It is not overworked; it just gives people space to feel something in their own way.”
Another exciting part of this project is the creation of the visuals.
“I am also really enjoying the visual side of this release, creating videos and short-form content to share with fans, and being able to showcase how beautiful South Africa, my home, is through that.”
A look ahead to the future, and it’s all about building momentum with new music and collaborations.
“I am heading back to London for writing sessions and a video shoot, working with international writers and producers, and continuing to grow things both in the UK and beyond, and of course, bringing them back home when I return!”
