As the streets of Gemoedsdrif fill with the spirit of Christmas, the residents are forced to face their fears, longings and regrets. Patty, Lukas, Ragel, Kevin and Gloria all find themselves at turning points where they are forced to make choices with heavy consequences.
Patty and Lukas: From romance to nightmare
Patty and Lukas’s relationship reaches a new high when they make peace following a time of uncertainty. He invites her on a romantic getaway, and it seems as though they’ve found happiness at last. But when a tied-up Patty wakes up in an isolated house, her dream suddenly turns into a nightmare. While Ruan and his team desperately try to find her, Patty struggles in vain to escape. Will she be rescued in time? And how did she end up here in the first place?
Gloria’s goodbye and new beginning
Gloria’s journey leads her to emotional farewells and new insights. She approaches Hazel with a desperate request and is forced to make difficult decisions about her future. While her friends help her move forward, she still carries the burden of Hazel’s secret. When she finally has her farewell event, she’s surprised by unusual moments – and confronted with her past and her relationship with Kevin.
