The long wait is over – Nêrens, Noord-Kaap Part II Coming This September
Three brothers and a father with bitterness in his heart. Will the Adendorffs ever find peace?
It was one of the biggest hit series of 2021, and immediately after the last episode aired, viewers began pleading: Please continue the story of the Adendorffs of Nêrens, the family farm in the Northern Cape. On 17 September 2024, the long wait will be over when Nêrens, Noord-Kaap Part II begins at 20:00 on kykNET (DStv channel 144).
This series of 13 episodes picks up where the first 13 episodes left off. All the main actors from Part I return in Part II, with the same production team working behind the scenes.
After the shaky journey back to their ancestral farm, Nêrens, three brothers and their father try to reconnect after years of estrangement. But how do you learn to love again when the dagger of a mother’s death is still lodged in everyone’s heart? As with Part I, a deeper understanding of the situation they find themselves in, is pieced together through scenes set both in the present and in the past when the three brothers were still young.
Nêrens, Noord-Kaap Part II begins on 17 September at 20:00 on kykNET (DStv channel 144). It will also be available on DStv Stream and Catch Up. The entire first series of Nêrens, Noord-Kaap is currently available on Showmax.
