Jauni M Finds A Safe Haven In The Storm With Striking New Single
What happens when a few talented and highly creative individuals come together to collaborate on a project? The result is something remarkable – like Jauni M’s brand-new single.
Storm is a beautiful contemporary love song, written by the late, award-winning songwriter Johan Oberholzer. At its heart, the song is about that safe place in the middle of life’s chaos.
“I loved this song from the very beginning. It beautifully captures what it feels like to have someone who makes you feel safe when everything else is falling apart,” the singer reveals about the meaning behind this special track. “I think many people have had someone who was like an anchor in their storm, so the theme really resonates. Johan had such a magical way with lyrics, and I feel incredibly grateful to have had the chance to record one of his songs. It’s a huge privilege.”
In addition to working with producer Murray Lubbe – who delivered outstanding work on the production – Jauni was also fortunate to collaborate with award-winning photographer Mireia Vilaplana from Barcelona for the single’s artwork.
“From the songwriter to the photographer, I was blessed to work with some of the best in the industry,” she adds proudly.
Storm is her third single, following the success of her previous hits Liefde Soos Dagbreek and Niemand Anders, both of which were very well received locally and continue to enjoy radio play.
Jauni M currently lives in Dubai with her family. Her love for singing started at a young age – she’s always loved entertaining her loved ones with songs. A true adventurer at heart, Jauni enjoys all things thrilling and has a passion for activities that get her heart racing. With nearly two decades in the music industry, she has had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names, including Ruhan du Toit, Deon Meiring, and many more.
When she is not busy creating beautiful music or spending time with her family, she also works as a nail technician, which is something she is very passionate about.
