Omphethetse Digopeleng says : My love for music and my will to be the paradigm shifter to people back home is the reason I am here. My wish to be living proof to the next generation that it is possible for a rural girl with global dreams to actually chase her dreams and live them, thus paving the way for them to also have faith accompanied by action towards achieving their dreams.

  • Karabo Sibiya a 24 year old from Tembisa, is again attempting to be an Idol with a Bruno Mars smash hit “Just the way you are
  • Mellisa Fernelen hails from Kempton Park, the 17 year old will be singing Little Mix “Wings
  • Nhlanhla Mhlari originally from Eastern Cape Mthatha is another Idol hopeful, the 25 year old will be singing a classic “Stand by me” by Ben E King.
  • The bubbly Divalash is 30 years old from Pretoria. She is a Club DJ and this is her fourth audition. She gets her inspiration from Brenda Mtambo. She will be singing “I’m only Human” by Rag’n Bone Man.
  • Bongeka Ndlovu is 22 years old. She is from Glencoe , KZN. She will be singing “Nomvula” by Unathi. She is currently a hairdresser but her passion is music.
  • Boitumelo Tlhakanye is 22 years old and is from Klerksdorp. She will be singing Beyoncé’s “Why don’t you love me“. She is currently a beautician but believes she was born to sing.
  • Mandisa Maseko is 21 years old, she will be performing a Luther Vandross song. Mandisa is from Cullinan and is currently studying Financial Management.
  • Neil Van Schalkwyk is auditioning for the first time and wants to melt the judges hearts with Ed Sheeren’s “Thinking out loud“.
