Elevate your G&T experience with these ‘tipples’ and tricks
When it comes to crafting the perfect Gin & Tonic, Cape Town Gin is the way to go. Their unique blend of local botanicals gives each of the gins a distinct flavour that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere. Whether it’s sundowners, a family braai, a sophisticated dinner, or watching the bokke game, there’s a gin for every occasion!
With International Gin & Tonic Day (19 October) just around the corner, here’s how you can elevate your Cape Town Gin & Tonic experience:
- Classic Dry Gin: a timeless and versatile gin, with juniper and punchy citrus notes. A slice of lemon and a sprig of thyme add the perfect fresh touch for your everyday G&T.
- The Pink Lady Gin: extremely aromatic, with fresh floral notes entwined with a hint of Turkish. A slice of grapefruit or star anise adds a perfect balance of flavour.
- Rooibos Red Gin: beautiful rich earthy spiced flavour. An orange slice, cinnamon stick and a basil leaf subtly elevate the warm, earthy notes of the gin.
- Black Rhino Gin: An aromatic gin with hints of citrus, pepper & liquorice notes with herbaceous and slightly sweet aftertaste. Black pepper corns and an orange slice melds beautifully, but if you’re feeling adventurous, try adding a sprig of Spekboom.
