Filming Underway For Bbc Lifestyle’s New Property-Reality Series, Listing Mauritius

BBC Studios has announced that filming has commenced for brand-new property-themed reality show Listing Mauritius, which follows the success of Listing Jozi and Listing Cape Town, on BBC Studios’ lifestyle channel in Africa, BBC Lifestyle.

Listing Mauritius will allow DStv audiences to step inside the luxury properties on offer on the vibrant volcanic island off the south-eastern coast of Africa, from 12-sleeper boutique hotel villas to beachfront penthouses. The 10-part series will follow a brand-new set of real estate agents as they do all it takes to sell the multi-million Mauritian homes.

Produced by South African production team, PD ProductionListing Mauritius follows in the footsteps of Listing Jozi and Listing Cape Town, which are available to enjoy on BBC Lifestyle (DStv ch. 174) and BBC UKTV (DStv ch. 134). The latest season of Listing Cape Town, which is currently airing on BBC Lifestyle every week, explores the lavish properties on sale in the Cape Winelands, Bishopscourt area, as well as a much-anticipated glimpse into Cape Town’s exquisite Millionaire’s Mile.

Joining BBC Lifestyle’s local line-up in 2025 is the 10th season of the much-loved, ratings driver, Come Dine With Me South Africa and a third instalment of Listing Cape Town, showcasing even more breath-taking homes in the region.

Pierre Cloete, the Commercial Director at BBC Studios in Africa says

“BBC Lifestyle offers a feast of feel-good, inspirational shows, from enticing cooking and celebrity chefs, home improvement tips to our quality line-up of local programming. I am so pleased to expand our local offering with a new production, this time showcasing the luxury homes in Mauritius, and give viewers more of what they love with new seasons of Listing Cape Town and Come Dine With Me South Africa coming next year.”

Nico Nel and Trevor Kaplan from PD production say

“Having just returned from our first block of production on the island, we have been mesmerized by the beauty and splendour that Mauritius offers; in its people and in the diversity of luxury properties that we got to see. We can’t wait for BBC Lifestyle audiences to watch this series!”

The brand-new series, Listing Cape Town Season 2, is available to watch on BBC Lifestyle Wednesdays at 8pm. Viewers can catch-up on the new episodes Thursdays at 5pm and on DStv catch-up.
