All About Confessions, Clapbacks & Boombox Gossip

This week has been crawling with shade – from anonymous letters, exposed gossip, bruised egos and soft reconciliations, it’s giving nothing but pure drama!

Anonymous Letters Bring a Downer

Earlier in the week Biggie told the housemates to write anonymous letters to each other… and chaos reared its ugly head! As the letters were read out loud, the vibes shifted instantly leading to side-eyes and some pretty spicy reactions.

It quickly became clear that Mmeli, Thandeka and Que received the most negative letters, with Liema saying that Thandeka and Mmeli will grow stronger from the criticism, because they thrive off negative energy. Didi, not buying it accused some housemates of being dishonest in what they wrote.

Liema didn’t hold back either, especially after admitting she wrote Que a harsh letter dragging his wardrobe, saying he’s been wearing the same fits since Week 1 while calling himself “King Kotini.” Ouch! She, however, later apologised to Que and the two sealed it with a hug.

Thandeka explained her reasoning (minus the name drops), saying people think they know her when they don’t, and that outside the house she would never entertain some of these personalities. Meanwhile, Trixie was not impressed after learning that some housemates spoke about her in Bravo B’s letters but didn’t address her directly. “Why not say it to me?” she questioned.

Bazozwa Diaries

This week also brought emotional diary sessions as housemates unpacked the Bazozwa twist and the now-infamous Boombox. Liema called her return nostalgic but made it clear that she ‘must make it past Week 8 this time‘. Even when the Bazozwa Boombox exposed the week’s Head of House (HoH) Ashay calling her “lazy,” she stood firm saying she is not here to please anyone.

Meanwhile, Que admitted that Tumi The Barber’s eviction shook him and felt that Liema’s letter cut deep. He also warned about housemates with “poker faces” in public but different energy in their cliques.

As for the Mmeli… cool, calm and quite calculated. “A game is a game,” he said adding that he suspected that some negative letters came from Liema and Didi but maintained that competition comes first.

Ilano embraced the challenge but questioned why anyone would deliberately write something cruel. She also expressed regret over comments she made about King Wanda, especially after hygiene-gate.

This whole task exposed one thing quite clearly…words are weapons in the Bazozwa house!

Voting for this week’s nominated housemates closes at 21:00 on Thursday. Fans are encouraged to cast their votes to ensure their favourite housemate secures a spot in the competition for another week. More details on how to vote can be found here.

The Bazozwa Boombox: Gossip with a Mic

This week, the Boombox continued exposing whispered conversations, turning casual shade into public broadcast. Didi found humour in the fact that the Boombox exposed men as gossipers too.

HoH Ashay admitted that the first exposure was intimidating, but housemates are slowly becoming desensitized to it. So far, both Ashay and Thandeka have been caught out, but surprisingly, no full-blown explosions… yet! It has, however, planted seeds of doubt, guarded friendships and more calculated conversations.

Chillers Game Show & Finale on Everyone’s Mind

After all the emotional heaviness, housemates switched gears for the Chillers Game Show bringing high-energy vibes only. They competed for R2000 cash and bragging rights in a two-part challenge: a rapid-fire general knowledge round and a creative charades showdown. In a tight finish, Team Caribbean secured the win, walking away with the cash.

Between harsh letters, exposed gossip and alliance whispers, one theme keeps surfacing: making it to the finale. Housemates are no longer just surviving week to week, they are calculating and guardedly testing loyalties.

As they were preparing for the week’s wager task, friendships were bruised, egos were checked and apologies were made. But as we all know, in Biggie’s house, peace is temporary!
