Now the Comedian known as Prins goes Bigger than Ever! With the Live Performance and Recording of his One Man Stand Up Comedy Special “Unnecessary”, at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City on the 30th May.
Prins has performed in Switzerland, South Korea, Swaziland, Botswana, Namibia and All over South Africa for the past 6 years.
“Unnecessary is a show I have been crafting for 3 years. It started in my hometown East London in 2016, and has been performed all over South Africa since; from the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, to Bloemfontein to Cape Town”.
The only city the show has never been performed in, is Johannesburg.
“I decided to leave Johannesburg for the Grand Finale. I wanted a well matured, well crafted, perfect show to showcase on the grandest stage and recorded for television”.
‘Unnecessary’ is an introductory piece to the comedian Prins and addresses the Social ills of self, society, South Africa and the world at large. All those things we can all agree are totally ‘unnecessary’. The show is heavily concentrated on Funny in all frames. Prins being the bearer of a diverse comedy skill set.
