An elimination looms as the final pair from group 1 take to the kitchen
It’s crunch time in the kitchen this week on My Kitchen Rules SA with ‘Cooked Sisters’ Jessica & Nicole, the final pair to cook before an elimination. They’ll need to better Mark & Mbali’s score of 58/100 to ensure they get into the Challenge Round by doing something the Durban duo also tried to do – share their heritage with the other contestants.
Cooking from a recipe book hand-written by their ‘avó’ (their grandmother), the sisters put a modern twist on traditional Madeiran cuisine – acutely aware that J’Something shares their heritage and knows the flavours well.
The five duos are one step away from the Challenge Round – who did enough at their Instant Restaurant to earn a longer stay in the competition?
Come 11 December, one of the 10 pairs of this season’s home cooks will walk away with R1 million!
