The Geek Gathering Is Expanding!

Ke Ai, Yes Sir! Events and Gotcha’s Pizzeria are the brains behind the popular Geek and Alternative Market at Garden on 4th, Linden which takes place every last Saturday of the month,

Celebrating its sixth market this April, the Geek Gathering has grown with more and new vendors, and more patrons.

This increasing interest sparked the idea to expand the market space outside of the Garden on 4th property from April, for our Freedom Day market. This will enable market goers to enjoy more choice and to create more of a vibe in Linden.

Geeks, alternative communities and everyone in between can still expect the same, exciting market with all your favourite vendors plus store owners in Garden on 4th, but now we have space for more vendors and more to explore in and around the property at 65 on 4th.

We will also be hosting our Geek Quiz at 2pm at Gotcha’s Pizzeria with exciting prizes and fun.

But Wait There Is More…

Not only is this market getting bigger, we will also be introducing the first Linden Night Shop Market on the first Saturday of every month – the first one taking place on Saturday, 4 May (just before winter starts). May the 4th be with you on this exciting night!

This market will host not only our Geek and Alternative community vendors, but all types of vendors are welcome to apply.

Organiser Franco Ferrarese, says:

“We are looking to create a monthly hub for market goers in Linden, as it is such a beautiful suburb. We are also looking to collaborate with all the shops and restaurants around Linden on the strip.”

And Just When You Thought We Were Done… There Is More…

Ferrarese continues:

“Our goal is to bring communities together, to create a space for like minded people to network. With this in mind, we are also going to host a music network opportunity for all musos, to collaborate and meet – to grow the music scene.”

With this, on the first Thursday of every month, (first date to be confirmed), Gotcha’s Pizzeria will be hosting a Muso’s Meet for musicians, producers, and the like, to meet up, network and share industry knowledge. Plus there will be live music for anyone interested in hanging out with our talented musicians.

About Gotcha Cafe Pizzeria:
Gotcha Pizzeria was started by restauranteur Goran Trajkovic in 2019 and developed its own following within the Linden community.

In 2021, Goran had an opportunity to return to Serbia and put the restaurant up for sale.

Former SABC News division specialist video editor, Daz Jalaser decided it was time for a career change, saw the potential in Gotcha and decided to take a leap of faith. As they say ‘The rest is history’.

Armed with great regulars and a loyal customer base – Gotcha Pizzeria has evolved into a great spot for locals including families, artists, and all pizza lovers whether its for a simple lunch or a special occasion.

Striving to produce great food backed by excellent service has only enhanced its reputation as a community favourite.

It’s now time to share our little Gotcha Community with the people from outside Linden.

Gotcha Cafe Pizzeria boasts a beautiful outside area to enjoy their delicious wood-fire pizzas and light meals along with drinks. Also check out their biltong shop where you can sample their popular honey-glazed beef biltong amongst other choices. There are also vegan and gluten free options on the menu.
