Celebrities Light Up the Red Carpet at the 11th Annual Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards

The stars aligned at The Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City on Saturday, April 13, 2024, as the who’s who of the entertainment world graced the red carpet for the highly-anticipated Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards.
From seasoned comedians to rising stars, the event was a dazzling showcase of talent and glamour. Celebrities brought their A-game to the red carpet, dazzling onlookers with their stylish ensembles and infectious energy.
Leading the pack was Marc Lottering who was inducted into the awards’ Hall Of Fame on the evening. His charisma and wit set the tone for a night filled with laughter and celebration. The red carpet was abuzz with excitement as comedians and industry insiders mingled, sharing laughs and posing for the cameras.
Among the attendees were household names from the world of comedy, as well as a slew of A-list celebrities who came out to show their support for the comedy community and included the host of this year’s Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards Mpho ‘Popps’ Modikoane, who also took home the coveted Comedian Of The Year award, Celeste Ntuli, Robby Collins, Vafa Naraghi, Pabi Moloi and her brother Khabane Moloi, who was nominated in the Savanna Newcomer Award category, Kim Jayde, David Kau, Chad Jones, Dalin Oliver, Wazi M Kunene, Lazola Gola, Kagiso Lediga, Tsitsi Chiumya, Mohale Motaung, Chanley Wong and many more. From actors to musicians, everyone came together to honour the best and brightest in the comedy scene.
As the evening unfolded, guests were treated to a night of laughter and entertainment, with performances from some of the biggest names in comedy. The energy was electric, and the atmosphere was nothing short of magical.
With the red carpet festivities in full swing, the Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards proved once again why it’s one of the most anticipated events on the entertainment calendar. As the night came to a close, guests left with smiles on their faces, eager to see what the future holds for the world of comedy.
