Sibaya ramps up holiday entertainment.
Sibaya celebrates a bumper year of delivering premium entertainment by presenting a super charged lineup of shows and experiences to KwaZulu-Natal this festive season. With a jam-packed line-up of theatre shows and performances, special cuisine, music, glamour gambling delivering massive wins and a New Year’s Eve Fireworks display to make the skies dazzle, there is something for everyone at Sibaya this December.
It is the season for winning big at Sibaya with a series of exciting promotions currently underway. Heating up in December are the Golden Ticket and Festive Fever draws. Sun MVG members have a chance to win one of the few remaining Golden Tickets by playing slots and tables at Sibaya and entering the Golden Ticket qualifier draws. As a Sibaya Sun MVG cardholder, you still have a chance to win a Golden Ticket between 9 and 15 December with a series of draws and opportunities for you to qualify. In the Golden Ticket Finale Draw on 15 December, Golden Ticket holders stand the chance to win a stunning Jaguar F-Type valued at over R1.1-million.
On 22 and 29 December, it’s the Festive Fever draws with a share of R100 000 up for grabs each draw day. First prize is a guaranteed R50 000.
Dining out at Sibaya on Christmas Day promises festive feasts fit for royalty. Tatso Restaurant will be serving a speciality Christmas Buffet at R495 per person from 11am to 4pm. Bookings are essential. The bountiful Tatso offers it all, from free soft drinks from the soda fountain all the way through to an array of amazing desserts including pistachio opera, lemon meringue, verrines, salted caramel tartlets and the famous Italian soft-serve, Fabbri.
The opulent, award-winning three-level Butcher Block steakhouse at Sibaya is also serving up a sumptuous spread on Christmas Day. There is something to suit all tastes on the menu, from succulent steaks to mouthwatering seafood. The cost per adult is R690 per person and half price for children. Booking is essential.
One of the highlights of the December entertainment calendar is a dramatic fireworks display on New Year’s Eve at Sibaya Main Car Park. The display will feature dazzling Chrysanthemums, Brocades, Silver Plams, Dripping Willows, Colour Peony together with an array of Display Shells. The display will also have an assortment of Display cakes and is second to none in KZN. This is scheduled to ring in 2020 with a whole lot of beautiful light at midnight on 31 December.
As always, there is a non-stop schedule of shows and events at Sibaya. From 13 December 2019 to 12 January 2020, the ABBA Show is on at the iZulu Theatre at Sibaya. Tickets cost R250 per person and are available at Computicket, Shoprite/Checkers or The Sibaya Box Office.

Flavours of India Indian Food Festival takes place at Sibaya Sun Park from 20 to 29 December. Meet world-renowned Chef Kunal Kapur Masterchef India Judge; Chef Sashi Cheliah Masterchef Australia 2018, including The A list of the South African Indian Chefs and live cooking demos of variety of foods from the provinces of India.
