Reflections – An Unforgettable Musical Theatre and Dance Spectacle

Oakfields College is delighted to announce its annual musical theatre and dance production, Reflections, set to captivate audiences on 11 and 12 November 2023 at the Lesedi Theatre. This year, the college’s musical theatre and dance students invite you to embark on a breathtaking journey through song and dance, showcasing their remarkable talents and versatility.

Reflections promises to be an unforgettable experience, as it blends an eclectic mix of genres with songs that were chosen both to entertain the audience and highlight the versatility of the students. Under the creative direction and choreography of the renowned Owen Lonzar, the students will bring their heart, soul and passion to the stage.

Get to know our students and what makes them tick as they perform a wide range of songs, from beloved musical theatre classics to iconic South African hits. The repertoire will pay homage to legendary artists such as Brenda Fassie, Mafikizolo, and even include a few Afrikaans favourites. This diverse selection will highlight the students’ adaptability and showcase their unique talents, promising to keep you entertained from start to finish.

Reflections is the culmination of months of hard work, dedication and passion from our talented students. As we continue to make the Oakfields College’s musical theatre production an annual highlight on theatregoers’ calendars, we are thrilled to showcase the remarkable talents of our students and entertain our audiences with this feel-good show.
