Two New Reality Shows Coming to Mzansi Wethu in January

Mzansi Wethu is introducing two new reality show that delve deep into the raw emotions and unfiltered struggles of real people of Mzansi.

Four couples battling alcohol abuse take on a life-changing journey to heal their love and break free from addiction ion new show Spinza Aside.

With expert guidance, these troubled couples will face their past, redefine their future to figure out if they can survive life and their relationship challenges sober? They will undergo intense therapy and daring relationship challenges designed to push their trust, loyalty and vulnerability to the limit.

The couples:

  • Joel Madiba (Monate Maker) & Kgalaletso Matjeke (Barcadi Queen)
  • Borris Mokoena (Happy Drinker) & Mandisa Khubeka (Mrs Talk the Whole Night)
  • Mpho Kgabi (Kassie-trenuer) & Keke Moroa (Soul Food Foodie)
  • Tumisho Matjila (Reserved Moreki) & Darlene Mofokeng (The Groove Pandemic)

As their journey nears its end, one question will remain: Will they choose love and a second chance at life or will booze win again?

The Real City Makoti follows four married women who live a vibrant life in the city while at the same time maintaining a strong connection with their rural and traditional roots. Expect cultural clashes and family expectations as these modern makotis try to rewrite the rules by balancing city vibes with rural roots.
