Metafit™ HIIT’s FIBO Global Fitness Africa once again in 2019.

Metafit™, the original group HIIT workout is delighted to announce that it’s Founder, Justin Corcoran, will be at FIBO Global Fitness Africa, presented by Dis-Chem Pharmacies, again this year!

Justin has over 25 years experience as a coach, athlete, ex royal marine, gym owner and creator of Metafit™. Justin and his team, will be providing a variety of  HIIT classes at the FitStudio and looks forward to informing people about Metafit at the Metafit Stand.  In addition to this, people in the fitness industry can pre-book to do their internationally recognised courses run on Friday and Saturday morning!

So what is Metafit™.? Metafit™ is the original group HIIT workout. 30 minutes of non-choreographed, bodyweight only workouts that set the metabolism on fire – internationally recognised & suitable for most fitness levels.

The FIBO Africa team caught up with Justin about the Metafit™ phenomenon:

𝙎𝙤, 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙞𝙩, 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥 𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙞𝙩?

I started Metafit back in 2008 as a workout in my gym. The class was so popular with members that I decided to create a HIIT workout that other instructors and coaches could use, at the time there were only choreographed, dance based group workouts that were based on aerobic training principles.

3 years ago, we introduced MetaPWR our functional, kit based circuit workout after our coaches asked for a new HIIT workout to compliment Metafit and last year we introduced our free PRO workouts to our experienced and loyal coaches who wanted to challenge their groups with new HIIT workouts.

𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨?

When I started back in 2008, I couldn’t have imagined that there would be coaches in over 30 countries, including Australia, UAE, Thailand, USA and of course South Africa, it’s amazing. We have always stuck to the principles of true HIIT and realise that our fantastic coaches are our business, we produce the workouts, but they are the ones who make Metafit a great class.

I have visited South Africa on business and pleasure many times now and it is a truly magical place. The wildlife is amazing, the diversity of its people unique and now they have the original and best HIIT workout in the world!!
