Top South African Musicians Come Together for The Melville Music Festival
2JAZZSA is proud to announce The Melville Music Festival, a spectacular celebration of South African music bringing together some of the country’s most acclaimed artists on 26 November 2023. The event will take place at Piza e Vino in Melville, Johannesburg from 4pm to 8 pm. Doors open at 3 pm.
Melville’s Music Festival is a pilot project with the view of implementing it annually showcasing legends and future legends providing a platform to expose upcoming acts, artists and creatives.
Featured on the lineup are singer/songwriters and composers Les Javan, Mac Mckenzie, Chantal Willie-Petersen, Yonela Mnana, Siphiwe Shiburi, Malcolm Jiyane, Siya Makuzeni and Mpho Tshwale’s Azania Ritual Kolektive amongst others.
The event is another edition of the popular 2JAZZSA concerts which aim to promote appreciation for music in South Africa.
Early bird tickets were available for R100 from November 8th until Black Friday. Thereafter. tickets are R150 pre-booked or R200 at the door. Doors open at 3 pm.
