The wait is over. The first release of the FAME Week Africa 2026 Conference Programme is now live, giving delegates an early look at the conversations, speakers and industry leaders already confirmed for this year’s event. With even more sessions and exciting announcements still to come, now is the perfect time to start planning your FAME Week Africa experience.
Taking place from 28–30 October 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC2), FAME Week Africa is where Africa’s creative industries come together to forge partnerships, discover new opportunities and tackle the trends transforming entertainment across the continent and beyond.
From artificial intelligence and content monetisation to international co-productions, intellectual property, audience growth, creator-led businesses, micro dramas, and the future of music, this year’s programme has been carefully curated to deliver practical insights, meaningful conversations and real business opportunities.
Whether you’re a producer seeking finance, a broadcaster searching for new content, a creator building your brand, a music executive expanding your network, or an investor looking for Africa’s next big opportunity, FAME Week Africa is where the industry’s most important conversations happen.
Martin Hiller, Portfolio Director of FAME Week Africa, says:
“The creative economy is evolving at an extraordinary pace, and the opportunities for African creators have never been greater. This year’s programme has been curated to ensure delegates don’t just hear about the future—they meet the people creating it. Whether you’re looking for your next co-production partner, commissioner, investor, client or collaborator, FAME Week Africa is where those relationships begin. If you’re serious about growing your business, expanding your network and understanding where the industry is heading, this is the place to be.”

Kim will also host one of the conference’s most anticipated sessions, From Followers to Film: Growing Your Career in Media and Production, exploring how creators are transforming digital influence into sustainable careers across the entertainment industry.
“I have been very intentional in curating this panel on the main, bringing together industry professionals who each offer unique perspectives and collectively decades of experience. The creator economy is reshaping film, television, marketing and experiential industries” says Kim.
Across the three days, delegates will hear from some of Africa’s most respected creatives, executives and innovators, including Flavia Motsisi, Melissa Nayimuli, Mandla N, Thabo Rametsi, Aubrey-Simone Williams, Bohang Moeko, Sahar Baghery, Kiki Finley, Sivuyile ‘Siv’ Ngesi, Lorcia Cooper, and Zukisani Karabo Mabece, alongside hundreds of producers, broadcasters, commissioners, distributors, investors and creators shaping the future of the global entertainment industry.
