DSV Skill Challenge

The DSV SKILL CHALLENGE was thought up by the team at Technogym Southern Africa to create a NEW Playing field for ALL athletes to compete against one another. The NEW SKILL LINE products of SKILLROW, SKILLBIKE and SKILLMILL are the stars of the show!

Technogym is a 35year-old global market leader in the wellness industry, founded and based in Italy with head-office and factory in Cesena. Technogym Southern Africa has looked after the entire SADC region now for the past 26 years, with a market focus across: Home, Club, Hotels/Hospitality, Residential, Performance, Health, & Corporate.

The DSV SKILL CHALLENGE and its link to FIBO Africa caters to so much more than ‘gyms & fitness’ while offering something to athletes and sports teams, equally important to the fitness industry.

The DSV SKILL Challenge is designed to appeal to the competitive nature in all athletes, within their sport and/or against others from other sports.

Anyone can enter, simply by going to the FIBO Africa Website and Computicket.

Each entrant will be directed to a facility where they can do the challenge and post a time.

Entry options are as following:

Individual (Male or Female), or
Team of 3
Gyms
Sports Team
Corporates/Brands
Schools
You are able to enter both as an individual and as part of a team.

The idea is to find the best, only the best, there will be 1 winner of each category.

Individual entry will be R400 and team entry will be R900.

Following the launch of the DSV SKILL CHALLENGE, we will be looking for the fastest in each category who will make the semi-finals at FIBO Africa:

Individual Semi-Final – Friday 25th October (Top 21 Males and Top 21 Females)
Team Semi-Final – Saturday 26th October (Top 12 teams in each category)
Individual and Team FINALS – Sunday 26th (Top 6 of each individual and team category)

Note that only paid entrants will be allowed to book and try-out for an official time.

Only official times will be taken into account for semi-final qualification.

“The DSV SKILL CHALLENGE powered by Technogym will be hosting its first event this year and the finals will be held at FIBO Africa 2019 on an all new playing field. The challenge is to complete a 2km SKILLROW, 5km SKILLBIKE and a 1km SKILLMILL in the fastest time. We are looking for SA’s fittest athletes. By entering the event you will receive a Biogen goodie bag and a weekend pass to FIBO Africa 2019. A total prize purse of R40 000 is up for grabs!
