Disney+ Unveils New Trailer For Andrew Stanton’s In The Blink of An Eye

The new trailer for Andrew Stanton’s In The Blink of An Eye is now available. The film will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+in South Africa on 27 February, 2026.

From the 2016 Black List script by Colby Day (“Spaceman“), Andrew Stanton (“WALL·E,” “Finding Nemo“) crafts an interwoven triptych that contemplates the essence of humanity throughout time. Across these millennia, one constant has remained: our desire to connect with each other and the world that sustains us.

In the distant past, a Neanderthal family (Jorge Vargas, Tanaya Beatty), displaced from their home, struggles to survive – protecting their children and learning to wield primitive tools in an unforgiving world. In the present day, Claire (Rashida Jones), a driven post-graduate anthropologist studying ancient proto-human remains, begins a tentative relationship with a fellow student, Greg (Daveed Diggs). And two centuries later, aboard a spaceship bound for a distant planet, Coakley (Kate McKinnon) and a sentient onboard computer confront a mysterious disease threatening the ship’s oxygen-producing plants.

Three storylines, spanning thousands of years, intersect and reflect on hope, connection, and the circle of life.

Starring Kate McKinnon (“Bombshell”, “Saturday Night Live,” “Ghostbusters”), Rashida Jones (“On the Rocks”, “Parks and Recreation”), Daveed Diggs (“Hamilton”), Jorge Vargas (“Snowpiercer”), and Tanaya Beatty (“Yellowstone”), In The Blink of an Eye is helmed by Academy Award®-winning director Andrew Stanton (“WALL·E”, “Better Call Saul,” “Stranger Things”), and is produced by Jared Ian Goldman (“Ingrid Goes West”, “Russian Doll”). The script is penned by writer/executive producer Colby Day (“Spaceman”, “For All Mankind”).

Joining Stanton behind the camera are director of photography Ole Birkeland (“Judy”, “Ticket to Paradis”e), production designer Ola Maslik (“The Skeleton Twins”, “Madam Secretary”), editor Mollie Goldstein (“Not Okay”, “Dickinson”), costume designer Mirren Gordon-Crozier (“Where the Crawdads Sing”, “Teen Spirit”), and VFX Supervisor Jake Braver (“Birdman”, “Pale Blue Eyes”).
