Best Day Out set for 29 November 2025 in Cape Town
Best Day Out, the vibrant one-day festival that brings together music, food, and family fun, returns for its highly anticipated second edition on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at the iconic Company Gardens in Cape Town.
After a successful debut, Best Day Out is back with a new venue right in the heart of the city. The 2025 edition promises a bigger and better experience, celebrating Cape Town’s rich creative culture through a curated mix of live bands, DJs, artisanal food and drink, lawn games, a dedicated kiddies’ area, market stalls, and more. With something for everyone, the festival is fast becoming a must-attend highlight of the city’s summer season.
This year, Best Day Out expands its vision with the support of Mission for the Inner City, who join as a collaborator to elevate the experience and infuse fresh energy into the festival’s creative direction.
“Our goal is to create an inclusive, feel-good day that showcases the best of Cape Town’s local talent and creativity,” say the Best Day Out organisers. “Whether you’re a music lover, a foodie, or simply looking for the perfect day out with family and friends, this festival is for you.”
Living up to its name, Best Day Out 2025 offers a full day of activities for all ages – an event where music, community, and culture come together in one of Cape Town’s most iconic outdoor settings.
