AXE returns to Comic Con Africa with a stand-out activation themed Empowered by AXE, inviting fans to celebrate confidence, individuality, and bold self-expression through an immersive fragrance journey.
From the moment you step into the AXE-perience Zone, you enter the AXE universe. The experience kicks off with a 360-degree projection space that sets the tone for a powerful sensory adventure. Inside, fans will explore four interactive scent zones inspired by AXE’s most iconic variants: Apollo, Ice Chill, Dark Temptation, and Black. Each space reflects a different side of confidence and encourages personal discovery.
Visitors will be guided by AXE’s futuristic ambassadors, the AXE-tronauts, who bring energy, swagger, and storytelling to every part of the experience. From fragrance education demos and content capture stations to the AXE-ploration Podcast Studio, each element is designed to inspire and connect with fans on a deeper level.
At the AXE Stage, attendees can enjoy live performances by Robot Boii, a cosplay costume contest, and high-energy entertainment throughout the day. Before leavings, guests can head to the AXE Bar for a mocktail inspired by one of the AXE fragrances.
Those who share their experience using #EmpoweredByAXE will unlock a spin-and-win station where exclusive AXE merchandise is up for grabs.

Comic Con Africa celebrates its 6th live iteration from 28 to 31 August at Johannesburg Expo Centre (Nasrec).

Comic Con Africa is the ultimate pop culture and gaming festival that is taking place from 28 to 31 August 2025 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre (Nasrec).
