Who Will Be Crowned South Africa’s First Family Of Finance?
They’ve out wit and out played three families each and now they’re going head-to-head in an epic battle to become South Africa’s first family of finance. Team Khumbuza and Team Mbana are the final two families standing in South Africa’s first ever financial education game show, the Sanlam Moola-Money Family Game Show.
After walking away from their initial episode with a cool R50 000 each, Team Khumbuza and Team Mbana, will be playing for a whopping R500 000 and the title of South Africa’s most financially confident family.
Team Khumbuza is made up of identical twins Sizwe and Lizwe, Sizwe is popularly known as having played the Godfather in Uzalo but both brothers are Actors, Content Creators and Entrepreneurs while Pilot Sive and Marketing Professional Solam make up Team Mbana.
Sanlam Moola-Money’s objective has been to improve viewers’ financial education through a first-of-its-kind game show format. Episodes one and ten featured celebrity guests playing for charity, while the other 11 episodes saw 24 everyday South African families facing off against each other culminating in the final episode which sees Team Khumbuza and Team Mbana go head-to-head.

We believe that the show is the first step in fostering financial freedom in a fun, engaging and accessible way.”
Through the medium of entertainment, Sanlam aims to improve financial literacy levels and empower South Africans to live with confidence and so the ultimate prize is something that both Team Khumbuza and Team Mbana will walk away with, financial confidence.
